I started my 2021 with this creamy goodness and hoping it sets the tone for the rest of the year.
Packed with fiber, flavor and protein. Bananas are my favorite sweeteners... date syrup simply makes it more gingerbread flavored!
You can use rolled oats for a quick recipe... no need to cook the oats just mix all of above in a bowl..

Ingredients:
4 tbsp of steel cut oats
1 1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger or fresh
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon date syrup or molasses
1 ripe bananas mashed up / you can substitute maple syrup / brown sugar
1/2 cup plant based milk - I used almond & coconut combo
1 teaspoon shredded coconut
5 chopped walnuts
Ingredients:
Boil water and add all your spices.
Add your oats and let it cook.
When the oats are almost cooked add mashed banana and let it cook together.
Add your date syrup and switch off the heat.
Finish it up by adding the milk.
Top it with coconut and walnuts and enjoy!
