Tofu Smoothie Bowl

Did you know you could use tofu to make a rich and creamy smoothie bowl?

If you're a tofu lover, you've got to try this! As a vegetarian and mostly plant based eater, I use Tofu almost on a weekly basis! It's made from condensed soy milk and has a plethora of health benefits!
Health Benefits Include:
1. High in protein with all essential amino acids
2. 3.5 ounce has 8 gm of protein and only 70 calories
3. Contains isoflavones (20.2- 24.7 mg per 3.5 oz) which function as phytoestrogens (activate estrogen receptors)
4. Unlike what some believe phytoestrogens are not the same as estrogen
5. Soy / phytoestrogens do not cause breast cancer

Ingredients:
1 oz tofu
1/2 frozen banana
1 teaspoon of cardamom / cinnamon
A few cherries / strawberries/ raspberries
Milk of your choice (I use almond / flax/ cashew/ hemp/ oat)
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients together and pour it into a bowl
Top it with nut butter, fruit, granola, or whatever your Haert desires!
