My version of Papdi Chaat

Indian street food is one of my fav foods!

This is my healthier version of ‘Papdi Chaat’

Traditional recipe has deep fried chips/ samosas, potatoes, peas , tamarind chutney, cilantro mint chutney and other toppings that are deep fried as well.


This was my lunch yesterday.

I often make sweet dishes with yoghurt and really wanted to change it a bit.


🥣0 % Greek yoghurt 150hm

🥣1/2 cup canned garbanzo beans ( rinsed )

🥣1 tbsp tamarind sauce @traderjoes. Tamarind is a sweet and sour fruit found in India and used in many dishes. You can substitute this with sweet chili sauce

🥣Salsa - I love guajillo salsa from @traderjoes. It’s so Smokey and does not have a strong oniony or tomatoey flavor

🥣1/2 avocado

🥣Fresh cilantro 1-2 tbsp

🥣1/4 teaspoon of chili lime spice @traderjoes

You can also add cucumber to this. I did not have one.


This satisfied my taste buds plus healthier version.
