Maple Oats

Indian Chai (tea) and yummy oats with maple syrup! I combined the two and made Chai flavored steel cut oats with monk fruit derived maple syrup!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp steel cut oats

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 1-1 1/2 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon clove powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 1 banana

  • Toppings of your choice

  • Maple syrup (sugar free) - I used the brand Birch Benders


Instructions:

  1. Cook oats and spices in the water

  2. Once it’s almost cooked add coconut milk and mashed up bananas

  3. Add your toppings!
