Homemade Veggie Burger

Chai and chia go great together!

Ingredients:

  • 1 boiled sweet potato (mashed)

  • 1 can of black beans (precooked)

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon of onion salt

  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder

  • 2 tbsp wheat germ soaked in water

  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped

  • 1 finely chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 cup almond meal / flour (as much needed to make the dough firm)

  • Chopped cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Make it into flat patties

  2. Shallow fry with Pam fry coconut oil

  3. I ate mine with butter lettuce and baked sweet potato fries!
