I woke up craving to eat oats I ate in London so I made this gingerbread flavored banana steel-cut oats! This turned out so yummy and no refined sugar! Gingerbread gets its flavor not just from spices, but from molasses! I did not want to use any molasses but this turned out sooooo good!

Ingredients:
3 tbsp of steel cut oats
1 cup of coconut milk (unsweetened)
1 cup of water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 banana mashed up. Molasses will give it that gingerbread flavor. Maple syrup/honey/monk fruit will work too!
8-10 cashews chopped
4 Dried Cherries
Instructions:
Cook steel cut oats with water, milk and all the spices
Stir and add mashed up banana
Adjust your spices per your liking
Once cooked top it with 1/2 banana slices and caramelized with cinnamon (roast on a pan), chopped cashews, and cherries!
