Homemade Falafel

Delicious and packed with flavor! Great for salads or in a wrap!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of garbanzo beans soaked in water overnight (do not use canned or cooked Garbanzo)

  • 1 cup chopped parsley

  • 1 cup chopped cilantro

  • 1-2 green chilies (I like it spicy but this is optional)

  • 2 tbsp of chopped garlic

  • 1 tbsp cumin powder

  • 3 tbsp chickpea / garbanzo flour

  • 1 tbsp salt


Instructions:

  1. Blend all the above in a food processor (consistency should be firm enough to form balls)

  2. Spray oil on your pan and shallow fry on both sides of the Falafel (use a low heat and cover them so they don't dry out!). If you have an air fryer, that would probably work best!


For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 1 tbsp Sriracha

  • 2 tbsp of water (add more based on consistency you like!)

  • Mix together and enjoy!
